Department of Clinical Laboratory is a comprehensive laboratory integrating medical care, teaching and scientific research. We participated over 10 item of scientific research, in which 6 item of the national natural sciences fund, 3 item of the army youth fund and many items on the field class. We won 18 items of the army science and technology award and the army medical service award by presider or main participant.

Our department has 4 professional laboratories, they are: Biochemical Lab, Immunology Lab, Bacterial diagnosis Lab and Clinical Lab.

Medical items:

Biochemistry examination: Liver function examination; Kidney function examination; blood lipid examination; Blood sugar examination; Serum amylase determination; Blood serum lactic dehydrogenase; Blood serum ion examination; HbA1c; myocardial zymogram examination. The related examination items can be done according to the clinical need.

Immunity examination: hepatitis B virus examination; Hepatitis C virus antibody examination; AIDS antibody examination; Hepatitis A virus antibody examination; Immune globulin examination; Armor embryo protein; Cancer embryo antigen; Complement examination and so on.

Microorganism examination: Culture and identification of the aerobic bacteria and anaerobic bacteria of each kind of body fluid, secretion and related organization. Smear and stain of all kinds of bacteria. Experiment of drug sensitive of many kinds of bacteria. PCR methods are adopted to examine each kind of viral infection and so on.

Clinical examination: Each kind of blood, body fluid routine examination; coagulation series analysis; Detection of hemorheology; fast quota examination of glucose of blood and urine.
