The department of VIP dental care, School of Stomatology, the Fourth Military Medical University, offers comprehensive dental services of high quality for the important leaders or professors from the army and government, foreigners and people with special needs on dental services. Our department has gained good reputation for the high quality medical team and services.

There are five associate professors (associate chief dentists) and five dental assistants (nurses) working in the department. The dental services offered here cover endodontics, prosthodontics, aesthetic dentistry and dental health maintenance. When the special treatment needed, any expert from other departments in the hospital can be invited for consultation.

There are eight high quality dental treatment units with dental endoscope in the department. We also independently have other sophisticated imported medical deices, such as digital X-ray machine, panoramic x-ray unit and dental surgery microscope. All these digital devices are connected to the computer workstation by each unit, through which the doctors can watch each patient's digital images on the screen.

Mi Yanling

 Female, born in 1954. She is the chair of Department of VIP Dental Care, associate chief dentist, associate professor. She graduated from the Fourth Military Medical University in 1980, and since then she has been taking dental prosthodontics as her career. She is good at prosthodontic treatment by fixed denture, complete denture, partial removable denture and tooth reshaping; Also, she is an expert in occlusal reconstruction for severe teeth abrasion and splint treatment for loosed teeth. She has published more than 20 articles and participated in editing 3 professional books. She has accomplished 2 provincial research projects and obtained a second prize of PLA Teaching Achievements. Prof. Mi is the member of Chinese Stomatology Association, the member of the expert panel of Shaanxi Province Health Care Committee, the member of standing committee of Gerontological Society and Resting Therapy Society of Chinese Medical Association.
