Department of ultrasound diagnostics is the center of ultrasound diagnostics of PLA and chairman unit of ultrasound diagnostics committee of PLA with the responsibility for the development of military ultrasound diagnostics. The main tasks of the department involve ultrasonic diagnosis and therapy, teaching of ultrasonographic image and scientific research of ultrasound diagnostics. As one of the disciplines ratified to confer doctoral and master's degree and the mobile station of the post-doctor, it features in medical care, teaching and scientific research, especially in the innovation of scientific research. Some of the research and applications are in top-level both sy home and abroad. The department has been a military and even national key training base and center in medical service, teaching and scientific research in ultrasound diagnostics.
